Now that Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning is Unlimited at three, I felt that it is obligatory to upload something Chaos Dragon related as a tribute to my initial days playing comepetitive Yugioh. So here it is:

For those who are unaware, Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon forms a soft lock with Lightpulsar Dragon. If Lightpulsar Dragon is destroyed, it can revive Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon. And if the DARK Dragon falls first, when Lightpulsar Dragon is sent to the graveyard, (carefully without missing its timing), it can revive Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon.
That was my favourite aspect of the deck and having Chaos as a summoning method felt very cliche and fun.
This decklist exploits Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning to attack twice and banish opponent's threats. The deck will have to beware of backrows, since I neglected backrow destruction and removal.
A 60-card deck variant is also possible but it is not really my preference since I first played it at 40-43 cards.
The Extra Deck doesn't consist of Link Monsters as I felt there isn't a need to, for now. There isn't a specifically useful Link Monster which ties into the Chaos theme. If I really had to choose, Decode Talker at one is really all the deck needs. After all, the Effect Monsters does the heavy lifting.
There are plenty of Extra Deck monsters that I would wish to include, such as Rank 8s and more Synchro Monsters. I am a personal fan of Synchro summoning, which is why the deck is tuned more towards that summoning method. (pun intended)
I was thinking of a Synchro Summon performed using LIGHT and DARK monsters (E.g. Effect Veiler + Darkflare Dragon) and then immediately summoning a Chaos monster after that. Phantom of Chaos is amazing in this deck. It allows you to access your milled monsters to gain their effects again, be it your Lightsworn monsters or something like Dark Flare Dragon. I like copying Dark Armed Dragon's effect when I was unable to summon it.
The deck relies heavily on luck, on what is milled and what isn't. But it was part of the fun, not knowing what is milled and the possibilities. At least this was what I felt back then.
My favourite combo of the deck would include having Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon and two Lightpulsar Dragon already on the field.
- Summoning Debris Dragon, Synchro Summon Trident Dragon using Debris Dragon + Lightpulsar Dragon.
- Trident Dragon destroys Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon and the second Lightpulsar Dragon.
- Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon is then revived by Lightpulsar Dragon.
- Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon then revives Lightpulsar Dragon.
- Trident Dragon can attack thrice. (9000ATK Damage)
- Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon + Lightpulsar Dragon (2800+2500ATK Damage)
- And even if they survive it all, Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon and Trident Dragon can overlay into Superdreadnought Rail Cannon Gustav Max for 2000ATK damage. Tragedia would also be played to make a Rank 10 summon easier in the deck.
Evidently, the current proposed decklist is unable to replicate this play since the Extra Deck has insufficient slots for both. However, fans of Chaos Dragon can feel free to tweak and have fun with the deck. Debris Dragon + Chaos Duo will also be a fond memory of mine.
Could this work with cutting one chaos emperor and one envoy of the begining?
