Odd-Eyes Revolution Dragon is the star of the deck.
With three effects nicely packed together into the card, it brings something completely new to the table.
LIGHT Dragon / Pendulum / Effect
Level 12
ATK ? DEF ?
With a Pendulum Scale of 12, it is useful in acting as a Scale before you use its effect. Its monster effect tutors various of cards from the deck, and can even fetch you Luster Pendulum, the Dracoslayer. Although it is not played in this deck.Pendulum Effect
You cannot Pendulum Summon monsters, except Dragon monsters. This effect cannot be negated. You can target 1 Dragon Fusion, Synchro, or Xyz Monster in your GY; destroy this card, and if you do, Special Summon that monster.
Monster Effect
Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be either Pendulum Summoned from the hand, or Special Summoned (from your hand) by Tributing 3 Dragon monsters (1 Fusion, 1 Synchro, and 1 Xyz). You can discard this card and pay 500 LP; add 1 Level 8 or lower Dragon Pendulum Monster from your Deck to your hand. Gains ATK/DEF equal to half your opponent's LP. Once per turn: You can pay half your LP; shuffle all other cards on the field and in the GYs into the Deck.
Speaking of which, plenty of cards were also dropped in favour to maximise the deck's main goal of rushing out Lyrilusc - Independent Nightingale and followed up by Supreme King Dragon Starving Venom. Supreme King Dragon Starving Venom's Level is 8. Dealing Burn Damage via Lyrilusc - Independent Nightingale would let it burn for 4000damage.
The Destrudo Engine can be seen in the deck, although only two copies of Dragon Ravine are played. Thanks to Ancient Fairy Dragon, it is basically a Double Summon + Terraforming while thinning the deck tremedously. This play would extend towards Sky Iris, for the deck to fetch its key components. Odd-Eyes Revolution Dragon is among the applicable targets.
Duelist Advent and Allure of Darkness are other deck thinners, although the latter can be played at three.
The Instant Fusion engine is also played. In additional to the Thousand-Eyes Restrict toolbox, the deck has another option in the form of Lyrilusc - Independent Nightingale. With The Tyrant Neptune now gone, the deck utlitises Supreme King Dragon Starving Venom, which probably explains why it is at two copies.
Phantom of Chaos is also played at one copy to reuse either Supreme King Dragon Starving Venom or any powerhouses in times of need, turning the graveyard into an accessible toolbox.
Number 41: Bagooska the Terribly Tired Tapir is probably the best Rank 4 for the metagame. It has the potential to stall while you draw into answers, or provide a lockdown while you have Link Monsters to take the charge, placing your opponent on (quite literally) the defensive.
The other Extra Deck options has no surprises, many of them are niche options which set them apart from their peers.
ふじお, in a following tweet, showcased the possibility of a sample hand:
Loose Translations:
[Supreme Starve Venom]
Aim to deliver a one-shot kill. If you can summon two out in succession when leading first, it will be a FTK.
