How to negate? The Debate

Note: This is not a post about rulings. This is merely a listing of the pros and cons of the various cards.

With the rise of the Atlanteans in the current format, stopping Atlantean Prince and Deep Sea Diva's effect will be crucial. However, with some many negation options for the side and main deck, which would emerge as the best answer to the rising threat?

Today, Dueling Cancer seeks to assess the benefits and disadvantages for the various cards.

Lovely Mats by Taiwan

Just recently caught up with the Anime. Not bad. I like this design.
Dark World looks good. Although these two cards seldom see competitive play.

Cute Design I would say.

Biased towards Blaster lol.
So nice mat designs are always not in my country. =3=
And when there is one, e.g. YOT big event Nekroz playmat, I can't go because I am unlucky. Nuuuu =3=

22/3 YOT Regionals: 50 People. 6 round swiss cut to Top 8

Personally I would have preferred a 5 round swiss cut to Top 16. #justsaying

Meta Breakdown (Credits to Dsummon of Yugioh Edition Singapore.)

Stellarknight 9
Shaddoll 6
HERO 6
Qliphort 5
Atlantean 4
Yosenju 3
Nekroz 3
Yang Zing 3
Cyber-Ryu 2
Others 9 (Chain Burn, DDD, Gk monarch, Infernity, Evilswarm, Artifact + Yosenju, Fire Fist + Flamevell, Synchron, Sylvan)

Was quite surprised to find Stellarknight being the most used deck. I anticipated decks such as Shaddoll, Qliphort, some Heroes, Atlantean and of course, Nekroz. Hence, since many of these decks (except Qliphort) does frequent special summons and have cards that effects activated in the grave, I considered Marco Cosmos to be quite a threat. Thus I choose to pilot the Yosenju archetype, which can run both Vanity's Emptiness and Marco Cosmos.
