Grinder Golem is capable of achieving so much alone, that the deck's main engine is pretty much a playset of it and almost the entire Extra Deck.
The main advantage of playing Gadgets is their ability to search and thin the deck, while providing your hand with plenty of summon-able monsters to Special Summon out onto the field with Firewall Dragon.
Two Gadget Monsters fulfill the condition for a summon of Gear Gigant X, so you can search out Cyber Stein, a monster that has been missing from the competitive scene for a long time. Bring out Naturia Exterio and it reinforces your first turn setup.
Just ensure you have a zone to slot it onto the field, now that Cyber Stein is playing in a different Master Rule.
Scapegoat for defense and enabling Link Summons when needed.
The deck is pretty screwed if you don't open with Grinder Golem though. Without Ultimate Offering, it would be tough to bring Gadgets back to its former glory days.
