Despite the cancellation of YOT, players still had a reason to head over to Thailand, either for a short getaway holiday trip and also because the organisers there were kind enough to host a mini-tournament as a substitute so that the trip there wouldn't be a complete waste of time and money.
From Dueling "C", we have DAM SON and GeoTheBacon heading over by flight. So we met them on Friday night (11th Nov) for their night flight. Sent them off, and we headed home to sleep. With this trip, we would have expected to provide readers of our blog with some coverage of the trip, tourney report, and maybe even have a basic understanding of the Metagame there.
We did plenty of groundwork. Practice, supplying them with resources (cards) etc
Turns out they missed their departure flight, bringing a disappointing end to their supposed overseas Yugioh journey.
