Event: Malaysia Asia Championship 2017 Winter Qualifiers

3rd-4th) Low Weng Fong with True Draco
3rd-4th) Tan Wan Xin with Zoodiac Invoked Artifact

42 players made it for the cut-off to compete again in the 2nd day of the event (15th January 2017).
Out of the 42 players, 32 were playing Zoodiac variants, including, but not limited to Kaiju, Invoked, Metalfoes, Magicians, Yosenju, Infernoid and True Draco.
The Top 8 consisted of
- 4 Zoodiac Kaiju
- 1 AF Invoked Zoodiacs
- 1 Invoked Zoodiacs
- 1 True Draco Zoodiacs
- 1 True Draco
