Metalfoes in July 2017. OCG

With the damage dealt the deck, in the form of Link Mechanics and powercreep, a change in playing style and the help of a few old friends is needed for our vanilla pendulum monsters to stay alive.

Everything is still in a beta testing phase, but this is the general idea.

Quaking Mirror Force is used to stall and capitalise on Metalfoes Orichlac's effect. I placed 3 Scapegoats hoping to get into Link Summoning while giving me more tokens to destroy with Metalfoes' Pendulum effect, with the loss of two Blackwing - Gofu the Vague Shadow.

I originally went with Dandylions and the Predaplant engine but even that became too cloggy.

Another way to go about the new Metalfoes is to focus on board control with Fullmetalfoes Alkahest. Scapegoat Tokens can be used to summon Missus Radiant, and for Fusion Summoning.


Other variants involving Metalfoes are also possible:

• Metalfoes Kozmo True Draco is one, although it is siginificantly weaker now.
• Windwitch can also be played in Metalfoes, simply to enable Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon.
• Feel free to try Metalfoes Dino although I feel True King does a way better job.
