Fan Ideas for Shaddoll Support

So my friend and I were brainstorming about what theoretical cards would be good for Shaddolls, and bring it back to Tier 1 again without the release of El-Shaddoll Construct from the banlist. Hence, after throwing both of our ideas out, I thought it would be interesting to release an article about it - to share such ideas.

El Shaddol Iblis, The Devourer
(DARK Fiend /Fusion/Effect)
2000/4000

  1. Summon this card by sending a Shaddoll Fusion monster and a Shaddoll monster from the field to the grave.
  2. You may only control one El Shaddol Iblis, The Devourer.
  3. Once per turn, you may flip this card into face-down Defense Position. Whenever you flip this card face-up, Banish a card on the field, then this card gains 1500ATK. If this card is sent to the graveyard you may add [Shaddoll Fusion] from your Main Deck to your hand.

(Yet to be named)
Normal Spell Card

  1. Reveal one [Shaddoll Fusion] in your hand and pay half your Life Points to activate this card; your opponent chooses and special summons one monster from their Extra Deck, ignoring their summoning condition. This summon is treated as a Synchro summon, Fusion summon or Xyz summon. Your opponent gain life points equal to the special-summoned monster's attack points. The special-summoned monster is destroyed during the End Phase.

Normal Spell Card

  1. While you control this face-up card, Level3 or lower Shaddoll monsters gain Attack Points equal to their original Attack Points.
  2. If you do not control a Shaddoll monster, destroy this card.
  3. While this card is in the graveyard, except the turn that it was sent there, you can banish this card to add a Shaddoll spell card from your Deck to your hand. You cannot activate that Spell card the turn you add it to your hand, or any other card with the same name.

(Yet to be named)
Continuous Trap Card
Once per turn, during each players turn, You can banish a Shaddoll monster from your grave, and apply either of the following effects:

  • Negate the effects a face up monster.
  • Flip a face-up monster on the field to face-down Defense position.

When this card is destroyed and sent to the graveyard, return a banished Shaddoll card to your grave.

Banish from your field or grave, monsters listed..... (blah blah blah)
*You get what it does, right?*

Conclusion

The names are mostly for fun, as we can never replicate Konami's sense of humor for puns and word play. Just look at CardCar D.

Obviously, we didn't bother much with the problem-solving card text kinda thing. This is a more casual and fun idea for an article. With all ATTRIBUTEs for Shaddolls Fusion Monsters accounted for and released, it seems that future support is likely to come in the form of a spell/trap or effect monsters. To promote the pendulum theme, one can't deny the possibility of a Shaddoll Pendulum Monster card.
Like many, I think it is time for Construct to return to the game and I believe its return from the Forbidden realm can propel this deck to a Tier 2 deck in the OCG. The new list gives Shaddoll a fighting chance with El-Shaddoll Fusion being brought to two copies, and Sinister Shadow Games at three.
