Happy New Year 2018

As the year comes to a close I would like to once again thank every reader of the blog for your continued support of Dueling "C" for 2017.
Meme of the year

I admit that the blog updates has been significantly less frequent, as responsibilities of life has caught up to us. Personally, I have moved into my College Dorm, and with Dorm comes Club Activities which had kept me busy and unable to attend weekly rankings.

Playing less gave me lesser chance to explore hidden concepts on the game which can be written upon, and also less motivation to scout for tech cards. I am also a fan of a 'Multiple-deck format' rather than a 'Single-deck dominated format'.
The previous most enjoyable format I could recall was the Metalfoes-BlueEyes-ABC format. Made siding a lot easier.

To this day, the LINK mechanics has kept me with mixed feelings. I have been looking back at the older days of the game for a few weeks now. Being a fan of the Tag Force PSP game series, I went to replay them. Perhaps it is the nostalgia factor, but the past always seem like a comfortable place to run back to.
Hopefully, the "LINKs are too broken/LINKs too OP" argument won't be too exaggerated.

I am also not liking the fact that Spell/Trap removal options are so rampant now, such that traps has lost their utility and place in decks. (I am a fan of traps. Although I haven't tried Paleozoics yet though.)

I am sure many know by now that I carry the unpopular opinion that Yugioh has too many cards and mechanics. But then again, I recognise that without anything new, it is hard for the game to move forward. However, pacing of the game development can be improved, in my opinion, although I am totally disregarding the 'Sales/Marketing' factor of the game when I analyse it that way.

Revisiting is always a plesant surprise, when long forgotten archetypes gets a new support. On the other hand of the spectrum, I hate how cards turn obselete and not even viable as time passes, although I suppose this is part and parcel of a card game.

Perhaps all these opinions would make for a better

Moving forward, there are a few blog posts I can promise:
  • Tourney Report for a new deck I have been working on. Hopefully I can find the time to play it
  • Possibly another gimmicky deck I am working on (As one of my friend would call it, a "Side Project".
  • Apparently [Opinions] articles, while controversial, seems to be a popular option. That and the 'Top 10' lists type of articles. The previous 'Top 10' post I recall writing was the Anime duels, which could use an update by now.
    • Someone suggested generic posts such as 'Top 10 Loved/Hated/Game-changing cards'. It can't hurt to try writing one of these posts.
  • Recently I started rearranging my cards (Always saw no end to it. Somehow I still can't find the cards when I need to)
    • My end game is to gather the more Sentimental-valuable cards I have in my stash and hopefully put them all in a nice potrait or album. I can forsee myself doing a story-telling of each of those cards from there on.
Speaking of which I really have to rebuild my decks (Buy the Link Monsters which I don't have) and catch up on the Anime.

Finally, to my comrades at Dueling "C", thank you for not leaving and sticking with me on this voyage which has no promise of returns lol.

To BeyondTheDuel and Ygoprodeck colleagues, it has been a fun year and I hope next year will be even better.

I look forward to a new year and hope that the game would remain as interesting as ever.

MyPochi's Journey to AFASG 2017 (Team Flightless)

Hey guys MyPochi here bringing to you a tournament report of my performance at AFASG 2017 using Ritual Burning Abyss!

Here is my decklist for the event:

Side Deck Choices and Explanation
Before you BA Fans hit me with tonnes of hate, I did not play Nightmare Shark only because I do not have it at that time. So yeah, I replaced it with a second copy of Phantom Knight Breaksword.

Anyways moving on to the side deck choices......

Beatrice, Lady of Eternal
When playing ritual Burning Abyss, your main priority is to Djinn Lock and not to rush Beatrice. Thus, I never see myself summoning more than 2 Beatrice. I only add in the 3rd copy when I am siding out my ritual engine for a floodgate build.

Anti Spell Fragrance
I expected Magicians to be the dominating deck for this event thus I played Anti Spell Fragrance for Pendulum Hate.

Struggling Battle
Burning Abyss can have some trouble dealing with large boards especially since I do not play Dark Hole nor Lightning Vortex so Struggling Battle is used to help even out the playing field.

Gadarla, the Mystery Dust Kaiju
Best Kaiju for the Burning Abyss archetype. Deals with annoying minions swiftly, while providing an attack dummy for Beatrice to ram into.

Dimensional Barrier
Moar Pendulum Hate!!!

Droll & Lock Bird
After getting destroyed by this card in YOTSG 2017, I started to look up to Droll & Lock Bird due to its potential to stop a player's turn easily.

Alright with this out of the way, lets talk my tournament report of AFASG 2017!

Round 1 OO (Dino Yang Zing)

Game 1
Wow I was really surprised to see this deck not extinct yet! This build seemed to rush for Deng Long or Ultimate Conductor Tyranno in attempts to control the field. Skill Draining an Oviraptor caused my opponent to lose so much resources as I slowly snowballed to my victory.

Game 2

Intro to LINK Burning Abyss (Post Link Vrains Pack)

Its here!!! Its finally here!!! Burning Abyss received their support in a form of a Link Monster. Is this going to lead to a resurgence of the Burning Abyss? (Well...after SPYRAL hit the road)

In Link Vrains Pack, many archetypes received supports in a form of their Link Monsters. Burning Abyss was one of them. Introducing Cherubini, Black Angel of the Burning Abyss!!!

Millenium-Eyes Restrict x1
=====================================

Alich, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss is a decent choice for Burning Abyss, seeing that the deck is quite unsuitable to run 'Hand Traps', due to its milling strategies, at least in my opinion.
You are free to try, but DAM SON & I argue that one slot for Hand Traps is a slot lost and you have to be prepared to lose it during the milling.

This Ritual-based Build doesn't do too much milling, so I am pretty sure Hand Traps can fit in somehow. Nevertheless, this build is far from optimal. Have fun adjusting it to your delight.

The deck can also benefit from Linkuriboh or Super Polymerisation.
With more Ritual Monsters, the deck can have more options to search with Pre-preparation of Rites. Considering that, Malacoda, Netherlord of the Burning Abyss is worthy of consideration.

Team Flightless @ AFA

This year, we re-entered AFA for the yearly AFA Yu-Gi-Oh Tournament event. By 'we', I meant GeoTheBacon, DAM SON aka MyPochi and K.Xavage.

Last year, it was Team I Miss My Flight, and this year we went with Team Flightless.
Keep up this trend and maybe next year we will name ourselves after a flightless bird.

Well, last year I was in Taiwan on vacation so I had to pass. This year I was trapped in school because apparently a professor thought that Saturday papers was something everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime.

Update

To prove the bloggers are still alive, and that the blog isn't dead.

Ken Sir here. Man, I really have to do this time-management thing better. So there are six of us on the blog, and pretty much everyone is swarmed by the number one enemy of teenagers and children - Studies

School Curriculum really devoured most of my life. Before that I was pretty much waiting for enrollment so whenver I have time I would just sit in front of the computer surfing Youtube Duel Videos and reading random cards that most players might not even know exists, thinking of inspiration for a post.

Unfortunately I do not have such a luxury now. Three months ago, I enrolled into College and now I barely haven't touched my deck for 3 months. (Probably the longest I left it in my drawer since I started playing competitively.)

Some readers may know that I am also a Pokemon fan but I didn't even purchase Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon because I know I don't have time to play them. And... I have reservations about the storyline.

Well, my Finals are these few weeks and it will end by the first week of December so hopefully I can get back to blogging and composing articles. Over the past months I did think of just uploading a few decklists to keep the blog updated but then again, it would feel like a 'low-effort' thing. When I share a decklist, I would actually 'study' it more in-depth, throw it for a spin a couple times on Ygopro to better understand and more often than not, quirks and 'secrets' would show up, that usually aren't so obvious from the decklists alone. (E.g. Card A has this synergy with Card B etc.)

That, I believe, makes for a good blog post.

I kept up with the news, time to time. But all I see are SPYRALs and Golems (Lava Golem and Grinder Golem lol). I will admit I haven't even learned how to play SPYRAL and since it is now nearing December, I am really anticipating for the format to rotate out so that I can try out my Metalfoes and Invoked with LINKS. I do love the attention they are paying to the older archetype, although the LINK VRAINS Pack could have done it better with a more 'complete' set of reprints. (But hey, maybe reasons such as.... sales?)

But hey, expect the blog to be more alive again as my semester is ending (restarting in January) and I will be sharing three decklists shortly in another post.

MyPochi's One Man Journey in YOTSG 2017

Hi everyone MyPochi here! As most of you have known from Ken Sir's pre-YOTSG 2017 post, I am the only player in Dueling "C" this time.

And this is my experience at YOTSG 2017!

YOTSG 2017 Experience

I suck at Facebook statuses, Whatssap Thank You messages and Instagram/Twitter. Blogging is really my main medium. It has been a week, but here goes...

As most of you have known, I joined the recent YOTSG event not as a player but as a scribe reporting the event and typing the Event Coverage articles (which by the way you can check out here. #ShamelessSelfPromotion)

I would like to thank all my colleagues and friends for the event experience. I have always wanted to take the back seat and experience a YGO event. But have mostly been playing. Not that there has been any success nor achievements.
As a player of the event, it is really tough to blog about it or even write a decent article about the event, except from my own point of view, which is quite myopic. However, over the weekends, I got to observe duels as a Reporter and comment on them through the Event Coverages.

  • From a writer's standpoint, I would say it is an art of its own, a challenge for me to translate moves, actions, card activations into words and seek various different synonyms and alternatives to make the Event Coverage feel alive, less boring.
  • From a duelist and player's point of view, I got to witness plenty of different decks, their playing style, combos, common mistakes and errors.
My only regret is my incapability of covering more duel rounds and events. Ultimately though, I shouldn't complain. I felt like a kid learning how to walk for a first time, as exaggerating as it sounds. To me, it was a whole new learning experience, one which I will always treasure.

In short, my first event as a Reporter - a huge success and pleasant experience. I would like to thank my colleagues and friends in the Judge Team, seniors and mentors who gave me advice for the event. Everyone also provided me plenty of help in their own way, be it helping me get what I need or answering my cries for help.

Another shoutout goes to all the friends who were playing at the event. Thanks to everyone who came over to say Hi. I enjoyed the small talk and greeting jokes I made with everyone. It really helped to keep me from being brain dead. I was wearing a formal attire for that day (and one of the first instances I went that formal in half a decade) so it surprised plenty of people, since most were probably assuming I was playing for the event.

Lastly, many thanks and shoutouts would been incomplete without thanking my Family and Friends. My parents supported me to no end, understanding my committment and busy weekend. Friends whom I turned down for dinner meetups and hangouts, thank you for your understanding as well.

From a lone blogger to the current Dueling "C", and being part of reputable websites BeyondTheDuel and Ygoprodeck, I would like to take this oppurtunity to thank everyone who gave me a chance to work with them, all my friends and acquitances for their support, and once again for all the readers.

I hope to continue this line of work in the future and honestly, I may start doing more Written Coverage for duels, from online Youtube videos featuring interesting decks (as practice), or Live Duels from locals weekly rankings.

YOTSG 2017

Hello everyone. Apologies for the lack of updates again. I have a feeling I might have to repeat this message quite a few times over the next few months as I adapt to college life.

YOTSG 2017 is this coming weekend, a two-day event from 2nd to 3rd September.

I (Ken Sir) will be involved with the written coverage of the event. For updates regarding the event, kindly keep a lookout on BeyondTheDuel and YgoEvents.

GeoTheBacon and SanganFTK will be participating as judges.
Number 4 and 5 -K.Xavage & Traveller of the Burning Herpes are occupied with their school work and committments.

So the only representative of Dueling "C" this time round will be.......

The one that looks like Shurit and sized like Shurit, who loves Shurit, Strategist of the Nekroz:

DAM SON/MyPochi

At this rate I doubt Dueling "C" will make a name for ourselves anytime soon lol... Additionally, the next few posts on the blog will be written coverage on Duel Videos. This serves as part of my 'warm-up' and preparation. I hope everyone enjoys reading it. Let me know if you would like to see more of such Written Commentary/Coverage on the blog.

Yosenjus in August 2017 OCG

My recent posts have been mostly about Pendulum Monsters, which is funny that I almost forgot that Yosenjus were introduced as a Pendulum Summoning archetype.

While there aren't any surprising new addition to the family, an idea that has been dormant for quite some time might just have what it takes to bring my favourite archetype back to its former glory.
Yes, former glory implied that it was glorious once
YES IT WAS

Yosenju Divine Mountain Wind debuted in Dimension Box LIMITED EDITION
Normal Spell
If you control no monsters: Activate 1 of these effects;
● Add 1 Level 5 or higher "Yosenju" monster from your Deck to your hand.
● Place 1 "Yosenju Shinchu L" and 1 "Yosenju Shinchu R" from your Deck in your Pendulum Zones, but destroy them during your opponent's next End Phase.
For the rest of this turn after this card resolves, you cannot Special Summon monsters, except "Yosenju" monsters.

Mayosenju Daibak has been around for even longer but has never really caught on. The restrictions placed on its Monster Effect was simply too harsh and the Pendulum Effect did not really compensate for it. In terms of its Monster Effect, it could not compare to the late Majespecter Unicorn - Kirin either. Hence Mayosenju Daibak never really saw much play.

Now that Master Peace the TruedracoSlaying King has taken a backseat in the metagame, Pendulum Summoning is probably much easily to achieve. I also recalled Rippling Mirror Force giving me tons of trouble when I attempted direct attacks with Yosenju Kama 2. Glad that it has seen a fall in usage since then.

 ============ Main Deck : 40 ============
Mayosenju Daibak x3
Supreme King Gate Infinity x3
Yosenju Kama 2 x2
Yosenju Kama 1 x3
Yosenju Kama 3 x3
Yosenju Shinchu L x2
Yosenju Shinchu R x3
Maxx "C" x3
Swift Scarecrow x2
Harpie's Feather Duster x1
Dark Hole x2
Yosenju's Divine Mountain Winds x3
Yosen Training Grounds x2
Fire Formation - Tenki x2
Drowning Mirror Force x3
Yosenjus' Secret Move x3
============ Extra Deck : 15 ============
Superdreadnought Rail Cannon Gustav Max x1
Number S39: Utopia the Lightning x3
Number S39: Utopia Prime x1
Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon x1
Number C39: Utopia Ray x2
Number 39: Utopia x3
Castel, the Skyblaster Musketeer x1
Evilswarm Exciton Knight x1
Gagaga Cowboy x1

Credits

There are a few ideas involved in the deck.
  • Mayosenju Daibak not only clears threats but also returns the searched-and-placed Pendulum Scales (by Yosenju Divine Mountain Wind) back to the hand.
  • Supreme King Gate Infinity functions as a high-scale which can interact with both Yosenju Shinchu L and Yosenju Shinchu R
  • Shinchu L remains to act to fufil the condition for Yosenju's Secret Move
  •  Mayosenju Daibak is Level 10. Two of them can summon Superdreadnought Rail Cannon Gustav Max. This is an extension of how Level 4 Yosenju rush used to rely on Gagaga Cowboy to finish the job.

In my opnion, for the deck to succeed in being Anti-Meta, it would have to balance between choosing to Normal Summon or Pendulum Summon, careful to play around any Solemn Judgment or Solemn Warning

Slow Life is worth consideration but probably not in this build. Its effect is likely to pose a problem for plenty of current meta decks.

Deck Profile: Mist Valley Pendulum Magicians

We previously mentioned about Pendulum Magicians, during last week's post.
However I neglected to mention another engine that is unfazed by the Link Mechanics and remains splashable in Pendulum Decks.

A Dedicated Post

@Beeeno_seihai04  (Yuki) recently visited Singapore for academic studies. We met on the Twitter and he provided me with valueable advice during my stay in Japan. Recently, we exchanged gifts when we met and I introduced him to some of Singapore's local food. Or anything that you seldom get the chance to eat in Japan.

It was hilarious witnessing him seeking salvation after eating Chilli or Tom Yum, and cringe at the taste of Durian Milkshakes.

As a promise to him and a means of thanking him for his gift, I promised to upload a dedicated blog post about his gift. I would also like to take this oppurtunity to share with readers the new inventory of cards that I have just received.

Chaos Dragon in July 2017 OCG

Chaos Dragon was my first deck that I created from scratch. It was a real fun experience, finding any viable LIGHT and/or DARK monsters to splash into the deck during a simpler time in Yugioh. No traps, little spells, the deck carries itself with the monsters in the graveyard and floods the field.

Now that Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning is Unlimited at three, I felt that it is obligatory to upload something Chaos Dragon related as a tribute to my initial days playing comepetitive Yugioh. So here it is:

The future of Attribute Link Monsters

The new generic link 2 Mastar Boy (M⛤Star Boy) has just been announced, after seeing it's artwork, name and effects. It beckons the question would there be a more generic link 2 for each attribute remaining.

GeoTheBacon here. So I went to do a little bit of digging; for sharp eyes individuals,  you would have noticed that the there are multiple similarities between Master Boy and Missus Radiant. For those who didn't let me list them out for you;

Zoodiacs in July 2017. OCG

Would the list be Zoodiacs' final nail in the coffin? Or are news of their death greatly exaggerated once again?

Metalfoes in July 2017. OCG

With the damage dealt the deck, in the form of Link Mechanics and powercreep, a change in playing style and the help of a few old friends is needed for our vanilla pendulum monsters to stay alive.

Invoked in July 2017 OCG

The Invoked decks suffered a big hit with the introduction of Link Mechanics. Moving on to the next format, the Invoked would have to rely on other archetypes to complement them or assist them in securing a win. What other better archetypes than the recently crippled True Draco?

It seems ironic that it is called ACQ Summer since neither Malaysia nor Singapore has four seasons...

Team Roster Status

It has been almost a week since our last largest event - Asian Championship Qualifiers 2017.

Plenty of things have changed over the last months. Nothing bad exactly happened (except for Link Format lol), but few of us just felt that the game wasn't as attractive as it was before. Some felt that it was taking too much of our personal time, and eating into our other commitments and priorities. Others wanted to take a step back.

I will still be around posting articles, so the blog won't completely be submerged and disappear into oblivion like Bastion Misawa from Gx anime. I will still play, but more of Goat Format and I will still make the effort to read News and Updates on the game to blog about.

Status:

Ken Sir
  • Busy playing Goat Format with SanganFTK
  • Not planning to invest nor play competitively for the next few months
  • Prefer to spend more time on article-writing and analyse the game as a spectator, less as a player

SanganFTK
  • Busy judging.
  • Busy being bad at Goat Format. (Y)
  • Busy collecting Upstart Goblins.

GeoTheBacon
  • At risk of being fired for poor performance and laziness.
  • Only reason not fired - he is the only other one blogging.
  • Will still be playing competitively
  • Busy trying but failing to make D/D/D good again.

Either busy studying OR quit temporarily OR quit permanently
  1. MyPochi/DAM SON
  2. Scrublas
  3. K.Xavage
  4. Traveller of the Burning Herpes

Busy trying to maintain a family of 3 kids and finding a runaway wife while staying away from apples:
K.Xavage
#InsideJoke

Tl;dr - GeoTheBacon will be the only competing competitively. Articles will still be posted, blog updated, but maybe at a less frequent rate as the think tank is smaller now.

Let me just say that blogging is fun, but writing them wouldn't be nearly as rewarding without all the discussion on Reddit and Facebook comments. With your continued support, I doubt the blog will cease to function anytime soon.

We will survive.

Also, I recently started playing Duel Links. Not because of the Worlds Championship thing, but because even some of my non ygo friends started playing lol. I hate how I have to grind through so many level just to earn gems for packs though. and the tutorial.... the horror.

Until next time

Skull Meister

A recently popular Hand Trap.

Fluffals in 2017.04 OCG

Fluffals recently secured a win in one of the Japan tournaments. The deck went 8-0-1.

It is unknown, as of now, how the tie was achieved. It may either be due to a prize sharing in the finals or a unfortunate situation where Time was called and they had to end the Match at 1-1 for the event to continue.

Zoodiac True Draco in 2017.OCG

Zoodiac True Draco is indeed an effective engine for the True Draco archetype. In my opinion, it is a stronger contender as compared to its counterparts - WindWitch and Invoked.

Today we will have a look at a sample decklist and discuss the deck's standard plays and main goal.

Spellbook of Rudra Draw Engine

I previously suggested the use of Spellbook of Rudra as a draw engine on my article at BeyondTheDuel.
Players have since improved on it by adding the engine into plenty of other relevant decks.

I won't try to understand the deck. But wow...

A message from MyPochi

Hey guys MyPochi here.
Sadly, this time I bring sad news.
This will likely be one of my last few articles in the Dueling "C" group.

The time has come -  I am quitting Yugioh.

When LINK Format was announced, I decided to go casual and stop participating in my local Rankings Tournament. (And play Goat-Format with Ken Sir once in a while)
It was a harsh transition.
However, as my school holidays ended, I realised I was swamped with school commitments.

So I finally made the decision to quit Yugioh once and for all. I started clearing my bulks, staples, card sets and decks.

All that remains are my two favourite archetype, Nekroz and Burning Abyss. They both served me well for plenty of years and formats. Maybe I will write more about them in the future.

I am borrowing a deck to play for this upcoming Asia Championship Qualifiers 2017 before finally leaving. If it is meaningful enough for me, I may compose an article about it.

Hopefully, I will be able to stay updated with Yugioh news and write more articles for you readers even after quitting the game competitively. If I find the inspiration I will.

Once again
MyPochi here, signing off.
Hopefully not permanently.

Ken Sir:
Well, like Traveller of the Burning Herpes, DAM SON/MyPochi takes a step back from competitive to focus on his other commitments. He made some progress and achievements in life, although I/We won't reveal much, the rest of the team wishes him all the best.

I certainly hope that he will be back, as I am confident either new support for Nekroz/Burning Abyss will lure him back into the game.
Also hopefully, once in a while, he can reminisce about the game and write an article or two whenever he is missing his deck.

It ain't goodbye because we will meet again. -Akiza from Yugioh 5d's

Thank you message

Thanks to everyone for your continued support for the blog and my work on the other sites, both Ygoprodeck and BeyondTheDuel.

I hope that this blog has managed to provide you with interesting articles, deck profiles and content to make Yu-Gi-Oh an interesting hobby for you to have. I personally enjoy writing articles for others to read as well, and I thank everyone who reads for providing views and motivation for me to continue reading.

Blogmates, both lazy and hardworking, thanks for all your contributions. From providing content + information for my articles to small things such as correcting my minor errors and mistakes.

I hope everyone is doing well, no matter from which corner of the globe you are reading this from. Feel free to say hello to us on our Facebook Page or my twitter (@kensir096).

Four out of Twelve months in 2017 has passed. And the game continues to change and evolve. I hope that for the past four months we have lived up to your expectations, and we look forward to continue being your newspaper for the card game in the following months.
As usual, if you have any requests for articles, please list them down in the Comments below and we will try our absolute best to answer your demands.

We are currently looking to produce an article on Crystons, previously requested by one of our readers. We are really taking our time to collate a comprehensive guide, instead of just rushing out a rushed-out version.

Hope to see you around~

The D/D/Detailed guide to D/D/D Part 4 - Dominating the Link Summoning Format

D/D/D can actually stay alive by opting for a revival-based special summon game plan, rather than the multiple Fusion/Synchro/Xyz spam in the past.

Today, in this detailed guide, we will introduce the new method of piloting this combo-orientated deck.

Review: Starter Deck 2017

Starter Deck 2017 just hit the stores, and with it, the age of Link-Summoning officially begins. I had always wanted to do a product review of cards and accessories (if any), and this Starter Deck 2017 seems like a good place to start

The only thing that comes to my mind when I saw this was 'Desperate'. It is indeed a viable way to keep the deck alive, but you won't reap that much advantage and it won't have that much offensive capabilities since the deck doesn't have Zoodiac Ratpier (for the draws and advantage) and Zoodiac Drident and Zoodiac Barrage.

But hey, if you love Zoodiacs that much, feel free to try it. I just don't like the idea of attacking awkwardly with a Zoodiac Broadbull with Zoodiac Whiptail as an Xyz Material.

For the record, Zoodiac Ratpier's role is just to mill a Zoodiac monster which you can reattach as an Xyz Material using Zoodiac Tigermortar for an attack pump.

My suggestion? Go play this deck. Then allign your Side Deck with either HEROes, Gadgets, ABC or even Yosenjus. lol. Smokescreen tactic style.

Have fun with your 23 traps when you face Denko Sekka and Jinzo. No more Zoodiac Drident to out these monsters.

A Change of Name !?!?!?

Hey once again Dam Son here for the last time. No no I'm not leaving Dueling "C", so don't worry about the extinction of Troll and Casual Deck Ideas. However as you all have seen in the title, I am officially changing my name from Dam Son to MyPochi.

So before we get to why the sudden change, let's dive into some story telling.

When KenSirr invited me to Dueling "C" , he offered to make an account for me. That also means that he gets to choose my name (not that I know that initially). So when I'm in the group, I am bound to Dam Son. Sooooo what is Dam Son? Dam Son is some random meme kid that happens to look like my doppelganger.
Since I will be staying in Dueling "C" a lot longer then I expected, I decided to change Dam Son to my main IGN, MyPochi.

The name MyPochi means 'My Pooch' as in 'My Dog' in a rather nicer way. This name was inspired after I played a game in Steam which I find is a really amazing game. Can you guess what it is from this picture of the dog?

Really amazing Game

So yup...that's it and that's all for today's article. Hope all of you will be okay with such changes.
For the first time, MyPochi here signing off.

Hello once again guys this is Part 2 of Dam Son's Journey for Troll featuring the Yosenju Archetype.

PriceWatch: Febuary Week #1

Greetings. Today, we will start a new article series entitled [PriceWatch]. As the name suggests, we will be monitoring price surges and spikes in the OCG market, and providing possible reasons for the phenomenons. We will be taking references from Twitter accounts of Japan stores as well as yugiohkoto. From time to time, if there are interesting happenings for the Singapore market, Dueling "C" will try our best to keep you updated as well.

Without further ado, let's get started.

Now that we got that done, hello once again Dam Son here coming to you all with a new article series titled 'Dam Son's Journey for Troll Ideas'. (I'm sure you are all sick of 'Intro To' by now)

Meta Discussion: January 2017

Although the first month of the new year is almost over, these three weeks has brought plenty of surprises to players and the meta. The release of Maximum Crisis did not outclass the Zoodiacs and players originally expected. Zoodiac held onto their lead and is looking to stay.

I'm sure sharp-eyed readers would already have noticed "Haru" or "Spring". We will address this later in the article.

Engine: Wind Witch

Greetings and hello to our first article of 2017. Today, we will be talking about the Wind Witch engine in this short article. The engine has been a popular one since its release and has seen play alongside Metalfoes, Spirit Beast, but most commonly in [The Invoked] decks.
